Dear neglected blog, I've been going out a lot during the past few weeks so I didn't have time to write. Plus, whenever I have mindless going out periods I don't have much time to think. Plus, my spare time is tied up watching Suits and trashy shows. Anyway, I think I will free up this and next week so I will come back to using this soon. I really need a rest.

Instadigest | 2012 Spring

Okay, so Spring is over and the first day of Summer greeted me with terrible humid and rainy weather. Spring is a terrible time for a university student as much of semester two was in Spring. Also, exam results came out last week. The marks I got for each subject kind of surprised me. Anyway, I know I have my Instagram on the side bar, but Here are some of my favourite Instaimages this Spring.

Even just using Instagram has changed me I think.

Photos | Haunt

Been kind of busy and all but an artist will always have time to make art, so here are 2 pictures. It was quite annoying to play around with the editing for this one, I had to use some apps on my iPad and also use the usual cut, crop, etc. on the computer. Hope you like them.
Even though it's meant to be quite haunting, it's not supposed to be very dark, just a more eerie  sort of feel.

Life | Building

Hey, imagine that you had six differently coloured bricks and a dice. Each time you roll the dice, you choose brick corresponding to whichever number you get and you'll use that brick to build (e.g. 1 = blue, 2 = red etc.). Once you laid that brick down, you roll the dice again and use the next brick corresponding to that colour. Sometimes we don't get to choose and we rather let chance decide for us. When we do that, we take a risk which may be rewarding.

What is perfect? What is coincidence? A coincidence is a must. When looking retrospectively, what has happened is what was supposed to happen. I think after these few months, I have somehow managed to build a wall completely of blue bricks (well maybe some other colours here and there, but largely blue). It feels perfect. The coincidence of such a chance overwhelms me.

Style | DIY White Tee

I've always loved plain white t-shirts, or graphic prints on white t-shirts, or whatever on white t-shirts. I got these thingos from GS for my birthday and I haven't used them until now. This idea was in my head for ages, just didn't bother doing it. Now that it's done, I love it. I ran out of them though, they were only in a pack of 50. I think I'll ebay some more soon. I plan to do a big cross in the middle, or not - I really like shoulder detail. Whatever, I need more of these iron-on things!

I was thinking to do it on a black t-shirt so it stands out but I think it looks pretty good on the white. It feels very Christian Dior, exactly what I am ;) hahaha. The problem with this is that I think they will fall out, the worst would be when I'm wearing them D:

Life | Biggest adventure of the summer

Well, my summer, but winter for some of you. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Here are a thousand words for you.

Bought this yesterday, but damn it, missed out on the Genesect event by 1 day. I didn't even know about it. Ok... Bye real life.

Life | greener

So it's finally the holidays. Now what?

The grass seemed greener on the other side when I was at uni but now, even though there's so much to do, there's just so much time. I kind of just want to rest. I'm sick of going out, it's been such an explosion of going out for the past few days since my last exam.

Woah, its been ages since that post. Well, not really haha, a week or so. Anyway this will probably be the last post this month. I haven't been too active here or on Instagram because I've been capped lately (haha and Tumblr is just posting my queued up posts). I can't wait for next month to start :D but at the same time that's when my next exam is. I must prepare for that because I know almost nothing. Gees.

Okay I hope you like the pictures. The last one I kinda just played around with effects a little. Oh and don't think I'm bad at cropping. I wanted these to be like this ;D I wanted to seem a little more insignificant and further away - I wanted even more blankness. No idea why but it's something a bit different. As I said, the jacket is by Takeo Kikuchi - it's really cool!

Style | Fedora hat

Studying for exams is never fun, that's why I'm not doing it at the moment - I hope I won't regret it later. Anyway I got this hat from eBay where cheap things come from and it arrived the other day. I wear it around at home when I'm bored (like my Mario cap).

I don't know if I definitely will go out with this hat.. perhaps. But yeah I like it with a plain white T-shirt and black jeans. Just accessorise with something a bit more bold. Or even a graphic T-shirt with a white base then you won't need a necklace.

Life | Projects

Good morning. It's morning here anyway..
Lately I really have the urge to pursue some projects and create a set of things instead of individual works. Not sure what though, not sure if I have the time for it either. I guess I'll wait for the finals to be over and see.
Anyway, I started my Tumblr last night. It's nothing like any of my blogs past and present. However, it is similar to a lot of blogs on Tumblr. I'm basically using it like a Twitter and Pinterest hybrid because Pinterest is just confusing as heck to use.
Check out Synthetic Organism if you have time. The link is also on the bar on the right hand side. Maybe I will draw some inspiration from Tumblr and find people with similar interest?.. Either that or waste a LOT of time looking at stuff.

Hey blog readers, I've revamped the blog - not really just changed the header and stuff. Hope you enjoy the new template. Also, I got this jacket a while back, a few years ago, mother lion bought it for me and it's those ones which can be worn both ways (one side is black, the other is blue). The jacket is by a Japanese designer, Takeo Kikuchi - this is the only thing I have from that label but I will definitely look for more in the future. Anyway, I didn't really show off the versatility of the jacket this time I guess but there is always next time.

Life | Future hindsight

So much happens within one year. I'm sitting here at work typing this, not sure why, I mean, I do have a lot to do. It's really peaceful today though - the weather is good but extremely hot outside, like thirty-xx degrees. I am randomly becoming extremely reflective. I kind of want this year to end faster because I have so much to reflect on - I hope I don't forget. I love this feeling but I am way too pensive about losing it. Ah, I guess nonetheless I have cemented it in this post. I have gained so much this year and learnt so much. I've been exceptionally inspired and promoted to change because of so many people - it's great. I'm just excited to talk about them and everything I guess. Ah shit, my supervisor just asked me what I'm doing and I said I was fixing up the homework material :L

Life | Disintegration

Forever has gone. Today is infinity...

I really liked I've Sound back in the days (a low trance assembly with a few artists). No idea why I'm writing about Disintegration because I never really liked that song. However, in recent years, maybe I have changed - I mean I would still seek out their stuff and listen to them but I'm far less excited about them. I don't know why I'm blogging about this especially because to be extremely honest, I don't know many people who like them or have similar preferences in music as me. On the other hand, I do have similar music preferences to other people. I listen to pretty diverse stuff and like almost anything.

Life | MAKE IT

Actually, I wanted the post title to be 'NAKED' because it sounds like 'MAKE IT' but it would have no relevance to this post haha. Anyway, I didn't exactly lie in my last post about when I was going to make this post (I said I would do it at the end of that week, but I'm doing it now). I didn't lie because I intended to do it that week, but I didn't.. still - that's not a lie right? Is it? :S

Anyway, this is to wrap up my birthday and it's so delayed because I finally got the shirt I 'ordered' from Europe. It cost about 120€. It's from a small boutique in Germany from an upcoming designer.

Life | Fated

With this blog I've been trying my best to keep the posts relatively short. I don't know, I thought giant posts would be too bothersome for you to read and stuff, but I think brain dumps can be quite beautiful too. Brain dumps reveal so much more. Maybe the way your brain placed the words, maybe it is the words you don't cut out that gives something greater and fuller meaning. Although it could be such a chore for the readers. I don't know what the topic of this post is. It's just rambling. (edit: I added this after posting. It's just about me being lazy).

Style | Mustard Blazer and Accessories

I've always liked blazers, it's sophisticated and can also be quite casual. Throughout the past few months I've been looking for a mustard blazer, or any good looking one I guess. I finally got one from ASOS (on sale :D) when Spring came, so I guess I won't have much chance of wearing it =/

Anyway, I like it a lot but it's much better to buy blazers in a physical store because the fitting is really important. I have to fix mine up a bit. Hope you like the photos. I pegged the back a bit so it fits me better haha, I'll fix it soon.

The accessories are from Sophisticated Ignorance, an online retailer in the US  (if you're visiting the site, reload the page when you're on it ;D). They have pretty good stuff. I'm wearing Caesar (bracelet), Keystone (necklace), Slayer (collar chain) and Megabyte (sunglasses). I really like the names of the pieces.

Life | Part of the break (adventures of this week)

My mid-semester break actually began before the end of August but it technically started on the 3rd of September. Plus, since I haven't blogged at all since the end of August, I'll continue off where I left off. This break has been quite fulfilling really. The good thing is that I have no more assignments or any forms of assessments coming up (except homework and quizzes) until the finals. It's great except I have to push myself to do some reading (which I have not done). On another note, these holidays made me realise how poor I am and how expensive everything is. This will be the longest post in the world, just like Commonwealth v Amann Aviation, the LONGEST CASE IN THE WORLD (in my syllabus anyway).

I really don't remember which day was which as I scroll through the photos on my camera roll to remind me what to blog about so yeah... Holy crap, this is like a food blog now although I should have blogged about the outfits I wore everyday OH WELL next time, since I didn't narcissistically take pictures of myself non stop.

Well, I changed it header (unless you saw this post like Speedy Gonzales, and I haven't changed it yet) :D Anyway, I was really excited to wear this shirt today that I put it on before it completely dried. You can't really see it in the pictures but there are lightning bolts on the sides too.

Here's the end result! Making T-Shirts is too fun (and sometimes time consuming) ha! I often make them when I have exams/when things are due. Ok, are you ready for the SHOCK?! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Somewhere amongst all the commotion, you find a few great friends, you find some gems.

Really, this post is just for myself. I'm not going to make a list of them, that's stupid. I know who they are and hopefully they know who I am. Sometimes they pop up in the most unexpected places - all I can say is that it's chance and effort. You don't always have to agree, but for me, these friends and I mostly do.

Life | The world's a better place with sunglasses

Been missing from this blog for a while so I'll blame it on uni being busy. Anyway lately I have felt very sunglasses deprived and I've been looking to buy some sunglasses. I've been wanting flat brow sunnies as well as round ones ever since Peter-Patrick showed his really cool ones. Damn those made me jealous. So yesterday I went with Senna to go get some cos apparently there were sunnies for only $2 at rubi and to be very honest, I doubted the variety and sure enough, all womens. Depressed, the Sydney weather decided to enact some pathetic fallacy and pour on us.

Life | Birthday experience

Usually Wednesdays are the days which I get to blog during the day. I should be studying though since I have to go to work later and super difficult homework due tomorrow, worth only a mere 3% (damn). Although I don't necessarily expect a cake at work but since TODAY is the DAY... it would be nice if there was one (except I already ate a slice of cake this morning). Anyway, all my friends know I enjoy cake the most.

I don't feel much older - but I plan to. What I mean is, dreading the age of 20 has been on my mind for the whole year now so I've felt 20 the whole time - I'm quite accustomed to it (except now I have to go change my age in my bio on Instagram/ Blogspot etc. Ha!). And what I mean by I plan to is that I'm always in the process of bettering myself but even so, I will definitely step it up this year.

Life | What mother lion taught me

I do love posting at night, I don't know why. The certain quietness and stillness is great. That doesn't mean I don't like posting during the day, squeezing every second out of the day is what I enjoy. I never like to waste my days at all. Well, I guess that means I love posting all the time.

Anyway, this blog wasn't supposed to be too personal at first but whatever, we'll see how it turns out. I don't exactly remember too much about my childhood prior to the age of 9, just bits and pieces, flashes of images, images I have construed from stories told to me. And I can't say that this advice was given to me by mother lion before that age. I can't say that her advice is completely original either.

Photoshoot today. We scrapped the Winter Theme when we realised that we didn't have the necessary clothes for it. Somehow we ended up looking very youthful-olden days style which was really cool. This shoot was heaps of fun and we agreed that photoshoots are de-stressers.

Life | How's it going?

This whole week has been a bit strange. I know the week isn't over yet, but it feels like it's going nowhere. Once again, I doubt I'll end up getting any of my uni work done. It's already Week 4, it's crazy. 1/3 already done. Another 2 sets of these and I've got to worry about final exams. Not cool.

I hate worrying about stress, it stresses me (lol...) anyway it also kind of sucked this week because I especially lacked my support network. Most of my friends have so much crap to worry about themselves I can't be selfish and burden them more. Also, talking about uni stress with them results in no gain, it's basically the same thing over and over again.

Life | Before Year 2 Semester 2

The first post, I really don't know what to talk about.

Sometimes life throws something at you unexpectedly and you might leave it lying there or you might walk over or even swim over to catch it, without knowing what it is. I met a really good friend the past few months and it's really cool. We have some common interests and we genuinely encourage each other.

I really needed that since I've lost contact with someone whom I was great with for many years, and another good friend who moved to another State. My other good friend was unreachable D:
